Setting up the Plenum integration
Last Updated about a month ago
The integration with the Plenum voting system enables real-time data retrieval from an XML file that continuously updates to reflect the current status of a municipal meeting.
This data is used to create chapters, or cues, for the live event.
However, because the Plenum XML file does not include timestamps for agenda items or speakers, cues are added on the fly as the meeting progresses. This can result in slight inaccuracies in chapter start times, as the XML data is fetched every 5 seconds.
This is good to keep in mind.
- Agenda items are created as first-level chapters.
- Speakers are added as second-level chapters.
How to get started
- Fetch your XML URL from Plenum
It should look something like this: https://test.plenumx.se/dev/config/tavla.xml - Choose which live channel you will use for the integration & note down the name
The channel name format is '123456-1', they can be found under:
Settings → Live & Webinar → Live Channels - Send this information to Quickchannel support by opening a support ticket
